Hi friends!
I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Cassandra. I’m a married mom of two – my sweet and sassy daughter who is four years old, going on fourteen, and my two-year-old son, the happiest and cutest little guy.
As a working mom, there are many times I worry I’m missing out on the big (and little) moments in my kids’ lives. I feel guilty for being away from them more days than I’m with them. Sometimes, I feel pulled in so many different directions that it’s hard to find the time to just be.
I currently work full-time as a Registered Nurse. My previous job was as an Early Intervention Therapist, working with infants and toddlers who have developmental delays.
I want to spend quality time with my kids AND have a career AND have a clean house AND a great relationship with my husband AND maintain friendships AND have time to myself.
I’ve read a lot of tips on being a mom that say it’s okay to not do it all — that something’s got to give. Although I think that sentiment is meant to make burnt-out, stressed, tired moms feel better, it’s a little disheartening.
I think we CAN do it all and have it all — it just might not look the way we think it should all the time.
Whether you are a working mom or a stay-at-home mom or any other kind of mom, you CAN have the life that you WANT.
The key to balancing everything is to be more intentional with your time and here you’ll find all kinds of great tips on how to do that.
As a nurse and former early intervention therapist, I love talking about evidence-based strategies for making life with littles easier. So you’ll also find pregnancy and parenting tips like how to do tummy time with your newborn and stress-free potty training with toddlers.
I certainly don’t have all the answers but I would love to help you figure them out!
Feel free to reach out to me anytime, I’d love to connect with you: admin @ mamaloveslittles.com
